Forty-five years Project Engineer experience in design, planning and project management during construction projects. This experience includes preparation of construction plans, specifications, contract documents, engineering reports and cost estimates. James L. Peckham-- Master of Science degree, Civil Engineering, Michigan State University. Eighteen years on-site, hands-on experience in project management, supervision and inspection of airport projects including grading, drainage, paving, airfield lighting, building renovation, roadways, parking lots, fuel farms and environmental clean-up of abandoned fuel farms. Dennis W. Jouppe-- Dunwoody Industrial Institute, Civil Technology, Certified Senior Engineering Technician. Thirty years Project Manager experience in design, project management and construction inspection of airports, highways, water and sewer projects. This experience includes construction surveying, soil and bituminous testing and direct assistance to the Project Engineer. Twenty years experience in writing Snow Removal Equipment and ARFF vehicle specifications. Ten years experience writing passenger facility charge applications and amendments. Arthur Christiansen-- Certified Civil Engineering Technician. Thirty years hands-on experience in drafting, CAD operator in preparation of airport construction plans for airfield development including roadways, parking lots, buildings, airfield lighting, and fencing. This experience also includes construction, on-site inspection and construction contract compliance. Civil Engineering Services Final design plans and specifications are prepared and certified for compliance with federal, state and local requirements. This phase of the work includes all necessary field survey, soil and drainage exploration together with submission of samples to laboratory for evaluation in structural design, Final Design, Preliminary Plans, Specifications, Engineer's Detailed Cost Estimate, Final Engineering Plans, Final requirements, haul routes, plant site and specific provisions as may be required to maintain aircraft traffic security and safety provisions during the construction period. Project Management during construction will include a project manager, experienced in this type of work, together with experienced technical staff as required to perform stakeout for line and grade, field test for gradation, compaction, density, bituminous extractions of manufactured materials, and quality control test for concrete as may be required to determine contractor compliance with Plans and Specifications. Inspection will include compliance with grade requirements for pavements, drainage structures and pipes, lights and other structures requiring specific grade and location as set forth on Plans and Specifications. Peckham Engineering, Inc., has all the necessary plant, office, surveying equipment and field test trailers fully equipped to carry out all of the work on site.
